How to save tabs on closing the browser?
I am trying to figure out how to set up the browser settings so that the tabs you have open are saved when you close the browser. I've accidentally closed the browser several times and lost all my tabs...

As I am currently using Firefox and when I close the browser with lots of opening tabs than it asks me to save or not. And if I gave yes than all of them are saved. So you also try to close the same. One message will be shown to you to save that or not.

Um, I posted this in the Chrome users forum? I have Firefox and it works great, but with Chrome I have found no way to make it save tabs when closing the browser, so I've gone back to Firefox.

RE: How to save tabs on closing the browser? -a workaround
I have the same problem. Tabs have always been saved and re-opened automatically, but after a system wipe and rebuild, Chrome now sometimes remembers but often forgets.

The workaround: I put a folder "Every Day" on the bookmark quick bar and loaded it with all the bookmarks I need every -or most- days. RIGHT click on this folder in the quick bar and you see an option to load all the items at one time. One click and it's mostly done.

Now go to the "+" to the right of all the tabs. This opens a new tab, which will have in the lower right corner a button for "recently closed". This will usually list whatever (new items) didn't get put in the Every Day bookmark.

But not much help if you go to 20 brand new places every day!
