I have used Chrome for about 5 months and really liked it. Something happened (I'm not sure what) that made parts of it to crash. It would not recognize the fact that I was using Windows XP professional with Service pack 3. I finally deleted the Chrome I was using and downloaded it again.
I was surprised that it had changed quite a bit. Now I'm trying to learn all over again. The biggest thing is that now I can only have 8 thumbnails or tabs to view on the New Tab. Is this correct or am I still having problems or missing something?

Thanks

RE: Chrome user
That seems to be right. I only have eight tabs as well. It seems enough for me, but then I barely use that feature. Smile

If you'd like more of them you can try a Speed Dial extension.

Thanks for the help. Thats what I used before but I didn't see it this time. I'll look harder. I'm curious, where do you keep the tabs for your bookmarks?
Again, thanks for the help.

No worries. Smile

I've got a pretty large bookmarks library which I should reorganize. They are accessible from the bookmarks menu or on the bookmarks bar that displays at the top of the New Tab page. I also have a Neat Bookmarks extension, but don't use it much.

But just like you, the eight tab limit was annoying so I went for the Speed dial extension and I must say that it is fascinating!

Thank you for your reply. I reinstalled "Speed Dial" and all is fine now.
