I have been having problems with my facebook account on chrome. When I am on any facebbok page the https is in red and crossed out as well as the padlock next to this. What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Google Chrome detects some problems with the page. It is accessed using SSL, and it is encrypted, but it possibly includes some non SSL content, or mixed scripting.
I believe Chrome is treating a minor issue as if was a major one. You will be OK on facebook, but I would not do any money-involved transactions when the warning is present.
